Our commitment

We want Match Your Love to be usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they use. Accessibility is an ongoing priority, not a one-time checkbox.

Standards we aim for

We aim to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a target. We test and refine against these guidelines as the site evolves.

What we've built in

Accessibility considerations included in this experience:

• Semantic HTML and clear heading structure.
• Keyboard-accessible navigation, menus and dialogs with focus management.
• Visible focus indicators and a skip-to-content link.
• Labelled form fields with accessible error messages.
• Respect for the 'prefers-reduced-motion' setting.
• Considered colour contrast against a dark, calm palette.

Known limitations

Some decorative artwork is presentational and conveys no essential information. As we add real photography and video, we will provide meaningful alternative text and captions. If any content is difficult to access, please let us know.
